Useless service - receptionists are stuck in the 80s, they lose everything and find enjoyment in telling you that they cannot help you.
I've finally quit after a typically antagonistic encounter with a receptionist. But perhaps more important is the poor medical response. Firstly, my mother would be blind if I hadn't googled her symptoms (including transient vision loss, which an Elms GP simply described as "strange" and did nothing about) and taken her to Moorfields. I've had another GP tell me categorically that I had no bacterial or parasitic infection after a trip to Kolkata, but discovered in tests 2 weeks later that I had both. I paid a large amount for a gastro PCR test after this and forwarded the results onto another GP there, who didn't want to look at them, meaning I had to wait for a nurse from the hospital to request drugs to treat the h Pylori listed within the results. The receptionists range from helpful to imbecilic and often act as if they are doing you a favour by providing any service (I presumed this was their job and they are paid for doing this). Discussions can be incredibly frustrating due to immense obtuseness on their part - which they of course blame on you. There's a significant jobsworth culture there, but that is fairly endemic in the NHS.
Fantastic doctors. Couldn't be happier with this practice.
Thier tone on the phone is poor perhaps being a little bit more happy and polite to people would go along way
Came here from another practice. They have made life with our disabled son a lot easier.
