Excellent food nice atmosphere with a great selection of wine at reasonable prices. Food is not the cheapest for a bistro pub. Nearly got 5* but the pepper sauce was really salty. Clearly the chef did not taste it and it was all over the steak. Would not stop me from going back though.
We had a starter each then a pudding each for lunch. It was all lovely. The livers were great. But the dark chocolate pot was REALLY good!
Cute little pub very well done out. Fantastic garden and outside dining area. Food is great, especially the kids meal. Kozel lager on tap too and always seems to be a cute little Parsons terrier dog there!
We had a wonderful meal for 4 at Bistro Gautier. Food was of a very high quality with a varied menu and good value. Staff were really pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Probably best meal in Harpenden and we will definitely be back.
