Most awful young pretty lady with white long hair at reception! Is this really Harpenden? She needs to learn what are manners. We asked if we could have a tour of the gym, she just said yes and ignored us. Not showing WHERE it is? Is there someone to show us around??The management also needs to know this is how to drive business away! Learn from the swimming pool side, the staff so helpful and friendly, Redbourne also amazingly helpful and professional. Joined elsewhere, not paying for rudeness. Please get rid of her.
Considering how much I am paying for membership the equipment is in very poor condition, the whole place needs a revamp. 1 out of the 5 bikes is broken (makes a clicking sound when pedalling). Locker rooms are dirty, last time I went there was no toilet roll in any of the loos.
Only gym I've been to so I can say it's the best and the worst. It's fine really with lots of different machines and an area for weightlifting.
There is a foul smell from the female changing rooms it is always there worse than a public toilet. Staff on the gym floor are generally fine. Ladies (young girls) at reception are very rude and unprofessional.
The gym itself is fine but the prices are way too high. Almost 5.30 to go and Im only 16. Theres no point telling me to get a membership I never have enough to pay for such a sum in one go but 5.30 is far too much.
