This restaurant is not 'indian'. It is in fact Bangaldeshi food. The fish was coated in some sort of slime which i guess they were trying to make as an indo-chinese receipe. The chicken curry was horrid. No real effort taken to marrinate the chicken. The prawns were not great. The prawn tempura did not look appetizing. I guess the oil needed to be changed. The food here is ok...however i would not come here again. Giving 3* is generous.Parking has to be sought round the back roads.Cleanliness 4/5Atmosphere 3/5Quality 2/5Service 3/5
Have eaten here many times. Probably the best Indian restaurant around this region. Great staff, good food and the owner takes an interest in his customers. The menu is varied to include tapas as well as the traditional dishes. Recommended. Jason.
Do you like getting a Korma that tastes like a sainsburies microwave meal & onion baajis with the distinct flavour of grease? If so, Spice Rack is the place for you
I ordered some food yesterday while on a business trip to Harpenden. Excellent food and prompt delivery service, though the vegetable paratha was a bit bland, they can certainly do better. The saag aloo and vegetable rice were very good.
Great value lunch on a Sunday. Probably my favourite Indian restaurant in Harpenden (although I do also love The Cherry Tree). The tapas style allows you to try various dishes.
