What a mess. 3 weeks ago I turned up for an appointment that was cancelled as the dentist stopped doing 8 a.m. appointments, but they "forgot" to tell me and blamed the system. So I rebooked by phone. Today I turned up to find that appointment was not on the system, but did show up under my name - so they double booked. They said that they'd see me, took payment (in advance), but neglected to tell me that my appointment wasn't on a booking, but I'd have to sit and wait (it's Christmas Eve) until a slot came free. Out of courtesy they should have told me that before asking for payment to give me the option of rearranging rather than having to sit around on Christmas Eve. I'll be moving elsewhere.
I have been with Southdown Dental practice for a couple of years now and I am very impressed. Lovely staff and a clean surgery. I recently needed a crown and Dr Hadi was extremely accommodating and thorough. She even manged to get it prepped and fitted before Christmas. Would definitely recommend.
I booked appointment for Monday 2pm got call in am told dentist not available so rebooked it for Thursday 945...Got another call this am to be told dentist got training course Thursday ..can I rebook ...I asked why book it then? Was told dentist just won't be there...professional Not
The reception is dreadful. They never answer the phone and they are only interested in getting your money! That said the dentist Suzzanna is very nice!Shocking practice
Under new management and since then I have seen a huge improvement, due to have a refurbishment within the next month or so. Looking forward to see it. Dentists, nurses and receptionist are very polite and calming, really good for nervous patients. Highly recommend this dentist to everyone! A*
